Welcome to Empowerment and Development Exchange, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Our mission is to provide comprehensive services to meet the emotional, developmental, social and intellectual and mental health needs of adolescents, and young adults. While nurturing and developing the physical, mental, emotional, and social well-being of our participants, we empower, equip and develop them into remarkable leaders. Our programs are designed to assist with goal attainability, enlarging personal vision and goals, refining character, developing leaders, and encouraging critical and self-evaluative thinking.  Our vision lies in the development of our two programs: (1) leadership development program for girls ages 13-18, (2) mental health supportive services for adolescents/young adults. “Authentic empowerment is the knowing that you are on purpose, doing God's work, peacefully and harmoniously.” Wayne Dyer
Our goals are specific to the two main programs. Our philosophy is that if individuals learn strategies to empower themselves to perform their best at all times and fully develop their character, then individuals can reduce personal or societal limitations and exceed their expectations. When individuals begin to exceed their expectations, then they are fully empowered and capable of creating an exchange. We desire to provide our participants with the motivation to provide more positive exchanges among other people. We also believe that although individuals may have "limitations" there ability to excel and become remarkable leaders is never limited.
